A real-time journey through movement, architecture, and street photography.
Skateboarding and photography have always shared the same clock: the race against light, security, and physical exhaustion. But what happens when you compress that dialogue into a single 24-hour window across Paris?
24 Hours – 24 Poses started as a simple concept—take skater Leo Valls, photographer Alberto Scattolin, and document a continuous run through the French capital from one morning to the next. Supported by Nixon, the project explores the friction between Leo’s wave-like, spontaneous street lines and Alberto’s precise, structural framing.
Beyond the Frame
From the polished stone dalles of central Paris to the geometric concrete of the outer suburbs, the session moved constantly. But the strength of the project lies in the gaps between the action: the spot-checking, the gear setups, the laughs, and the mental fatigue that kicks in past the 18th hour.
Instead of a polished, hyper-edited edit, 24 Hours – 24 Poses stays raw. It documents the real pace of the street—where timing is everything and every photo marks a specific moment carved out of the city's routine.
